Whats the Weigh Day?

Starting Weight: 115.6 – 21.05.11
Last Weeks Weight:111.7
Weigh In this Week:111.8
Loss this week:Gain .100
Total loss so Far:3.0kg

Thoughts on the week that’s been:

I had to mix the Wendie Plan up a bit this week due to a little binge on Sunday, which did throw me a little.

NSV:  I so wanted croissants on Sunday for lunch but I resisted and had a yummy subway sandwich instead!

Food wise:  The week started off  a bit bad – Sunday involved a little binge and Monday evening wasn’t the best either – I am so hungry when I get home and if dinner isn’t nearly ready (hubby is a stay at home dad!) – I tend to craze! which is not good!
The rest of the week was a bit hit and miss as well – I think the lead up to TTOTM hasn’t helped along with a few extra stresses this week

Exercise Wise:  I was only able to walk to work on Tuesday – the weather has not been the best in NZ lately!

Mind Wise: I realised that the little binge on Sunday was due to boredom and not being motivated to do anything – What I need to do now is accept that this is something that I need to work on especially when I am in the house alone!

The week ahead:
I really want to work on getting myself motivated in the evenings to complete some tasks that I have set myself, so I will be looking at ways to motivate me to complete them!
Its not that they are big tasks its just I can’t get muster the energy or enthusiasm to get started, but when I do it energises me to do more and feel like I have accomplished something! – Weird I know!
I also need to reign myself in with my eating and sticking to the points cycling! – I will spend some time later today sorting out a menu for the week.

Whats The Weigh Day...............................

Starting Weight: 115.6 – 21.05.11
Last Weeks Weight:112.5
Weigh In this Week:111.7
Loss this week:-.800
Total loss so Far:3.9kg

Thoughts on the week that’s been:
I continued using the Wendie Plan formula again this week and it has gone well,
NSV: – I was given a Freddo Frog on Friday and it sat on my desk till Tuesday when I used it as part of my +10 day!
I also did the family shopping and did not buy any chocolate bars for a snack!

Food wise: - I am loving my corn thins with banana for my mid morning snack, but I feel that it needs something else with it – so will experiment with that a bit.
I really struggled , funny as it sounds, to eat the 31 points on my high day – I believe this was mainly due to have low point filling foods through out the day (oh the dramas of a weight loss diva!) which is good and bad!

Exercise Wise: - No walking on Tuesday due to a last minute change of plans for hubby. But I have started teams training and my burlesque class which is working the muscles and builds up a sweat!
I did manage to walk on Thursday and Friday so that was good, it helped ease the soreness in my thighs from the burlesque class on Monday night.

Mind Wise: - I am still feeling focussed and with changing up my food intake it will help as well – I am still in the process of decluttering my house and loading up trademe auctions so I am being kept busy there!

The week ahead:
Well the soccer tournament got cancelled again – so the weekend was quiet – the working week – brings nothing different so onwards and downwards!

Whats the Weigh Day........................

Image my own

Starting Weight: 115.6 – 21.05.11
Last Weeks Weight:113.7
Weigh In this Week:112.5
Loss this week:-1.2
Total loss so Far:3.1kg

Thoughts on the week that’s been:
I have restarted the Wendie Plan this week and am using the following formula:

Saturday: + 1
Sunday: - 2
Monday: - 4
Tuesday: + 10
Wednesday: Normal 21 points
Thursday: - 1
Friday: - 4

Food wise: - Great choices with lots of variety – I am trying not to have too much processed food for my snacks, so lots of fruit has been consumed, but I have been getting Chuppa Chup lollipops for a sweet snack in the evenings and at 1 point each it is a good choice for me at this stage.
Lunches have been salad or chicken soup or sushi.

Exercise Wise: - I was only able to walk to work one day this week, so I would like to increase that next week, - the goal is to get up to three days walking. I also had my dance class on Tuesday and starting next week I will have two additional dance classes each week.

Mind Wise: - My thinking this week has been great and I have not been wanting to overeat at all, I think this has been helped by keeping myself busy in the evenings with my decluttering project. I even got out all the plastic bags on Thursday night from the cupboard that were just stuffed in it and folded them all nicely into triangles and placed them into a container so that they are all sorted.

I am especially proud of myself for not indulging in the work birthday morning tea on Wednesday.

The week ahead: We have a soccer tournament on Sunday so I will plan ahead for that to make sure I have a good lunch and snacks, otherwise just a normal week for me.

Decluttering Tips...........

As I have previously mentioned, I am in the process of decluttering my home and life, so I thought I would share these pearls of wisdom that I came across on Unclutterer.com

Six Reasons to let it Go

Are you trying to decide if you should keep or get rid of something? These are six reasons to trash, recycle, sell, or donate an object:

1. You don’t use it, love it, need it, or want it.

2. It’s broken, busted, damaged, or destroyed and you haven’t fixed it in six months or more.

3. You have multiples of the same object, and the other one is vastly superior in quality.

4. It’s expired.

5. You don’t have anywhere to store it.

6. It doesn’t fit in the life you desire.

So has anyone else done a big declutter, purge?
How did it go?

OMG!!!!!!!! NON SCALE VICTORY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

O.M.G

I have just had the best Non Scale Victory ever!

Today  was one of my co-workers birthday and as the birthday cake organiser I purchased a Boston Mud Cake this morning for him and while driving to work thought to my self "mah I don't feel like chocolate cake today!"

Fast forward an hour or two and I am getting the cake ready and someone else has brought in savouries, ginger kisses and animal crackers as well!

Eek I think!

But I do not partake in any of it!

Nun.....Zilch............Zip........Nadda!

I stayed at my desk, ate my apple and let them be!

I must say I am so proud of myself for this - as usually I would indulge a bit with everything but I didn't!

off to polish my medal now!

Tuesday, June 7, 2011

Ten on Tuesday

1. As I mentioned yesterday I have been decluttering my craft room
2. Being the craft hoarder that I am  - it was a lot harder than I thought.
3. I didn't make as much progress as I wanted to
4. But at least I have begun!
5. I am sort of enjoying the process and would like to take it to other parts of the house
6. Especially the kids rooms!
7. I don't think they will like it tho!
8. Now I have this extra room I must remember not to refill it with junk
9. Maybe a re-arrange will be next!
10. Or hitting the shops for something to fill the gap????
