Thoughts on the day: The beginning of the day went well and I enjoyed a morning with the kids and a trip to Newmarket. In the afternoon I helped Juliet in the kitchen and proceeded to "nibble" on some chips - not a good move! - American Hotdog for dinner. Not a lot of water comsumed either.

Mothers Day - Sunday 13.05.12(108.4 at 8 am)

Breakfast -2 crumpets, chicken bacon, egg 6 points
Snack - 1 WW Bar 1.5 points
Lunch - Bun 2 pts, Chips 3 points

Thoughts on the day: A Yummy Mothers Day breakfast filled me up for quite a while, relaxing day pottering around the house, late lunch snack.Had over 1 litre of water in the afternoon. No excercise, relaxing evening with yummy dinner

Thoughts on the day: Took car to work today as dropped off Richard at his place. Been working at current job 5 years today! Cold day at work and feeling like wanting comfort food but have resisted so far, cup of tea helped. Water consumption good, finished 1.25l just after noon. Great game of squash in the evening and then just relaxed.

Thoughts on the day:Another rainy day so had to take the car to work.As funny as it sounds the high point days can be hard to get all the points in! Oh well life is hard some days (LOL), Remainder of the day went well and lots of fun at dance class. Managed to drink 2 1.25 litres of water today.

Wednesday 16.05.12 ( 107.8 at 6.30am)

Lunch - Sushi 6 points, 600 ml Diet Coke 0 points
Dinner - Chicken, veges, roast potatoes and apple pie and ice cream 13 points

Thoughts on the day: Drove in today as normal car day, weather still raining, yummy sushi for lunch and a quiet productive work day. Finish 1 x 1.25 Ltr water in the morning. Masters squash in evening and another late meal eating at about 9.45pm - eek!

Thursday 17.05.12 (107.6 at 6.30am)
Minus 1 - 20 Points
Breakfast - 1 egg 1.5 points
Snack - 1 cupcake 5 points
Lunch - Tuna Salad with Cheese 3 points, 1 can of diet coke 0 points
Snack - 1 Cupcake 5 points - opps!, 1 can of diet coke points
Dinner - American Hotdog and some chips 6.5 points

Excercise - 30 minutes of Squash
Thoughts on the day: Drove into work today as another late night last night (in bed at midnight), weather alot better today - hopefully I can walk tomorrow. Cupcakes for morning tea as coworkers birthday - I will enjoy it since I am the one to organise them. Weight coming down - so happy! Also had another cupcake for afternoon tea - opps - better be good for the remainder of the day! Managed to dinish 1 x 1.25 litre of water - very cold day - so water consumption down - will drink more tonight at squash, Bad food choices in evening - ended up helping Juliet in kitchen so nibbled some chips and had an american hotdog for dinner!

Thoughts on the day: Walked to work today - bit of an effort and wonder whether I will be getting wet on the walk home - route has lengthened for a bit as my short cut is closed for now, adds in a hill now! Bad choice at morning tea but feeling stressed as short staffed today and doing extra jobs but not my own!

Blood Test Weigh Loss Challenge Update........





Back at the beginning of April, I pledged to loose weight so that when I retake my bloods at the end of June I wanted to be under 100 kgs.

Well I thought it was time for an update.....................

Start Weight: 111.7 @ 07.04.12

Current Weight 109.7 @ 12.05.12

Total Lost 2 kgs!

While any loss is a good loss and I am happy that I have lost 2 kgs in the month, it does put me behind at the moment by about 2 kgs if I am wanting to get to under 100kgs by the end of June.

So I need to step it up a bit more and commit to healthy eating and excercising.

Lost: 1.1 kg!!!- WOO HOO!!!!

Total lost Now 10.4kg!
Yeeha!!! I hit the 10kg mark!


Well what a week  - I did it! - I have lost 10kgs! I am so proud of myself! - Now onto the next 10, fingers crosses they won't take as long.

Back to ournormal scheduling now - nothing out of the ordinary coming up so it should be a good week.

Currently............



Reading: You can Create an exceptional Life by Louise Hay and Cheryl Richardson. I am really enjoying this little book and it is helping me rethink a few things and confirming a few others that have been on my mind.


Watching: My two wonderful children playing soccer. The season has started and they are both doing wonderfully! Liam is mainly in goal this year and he is excelling at it, Courtney is playing defense and is showing to be a valuable member of the team


Working on: My decluttering of my house – it is a slow process that is constantly interrupted with all the comings and goings of a busy household.


Thinking About: My life and all that its in it. My uncle recently passed away and it has naturally made me rethink what we do and how I go about things, it also has made me reflect on my family and extended family and the dynamics that are there!


Anticipating: Weigh in this week – I am so close to hitting the 10 kg mark that I am being so good, but I am always scared that it won’t happen due to my body deciding to play games on me this week!


Listening to: My daughter singing away to her ipod while dancing around the house – so entertaining


Eating: Thoughtfully and really thinking about my choices so the scales smile nicely on Saturday morning


Wishing: For down time – I think I am ready for a weeks holiday!


Loving: My main man! He is a wonderful husband and a wonderful father – we are so blessed!


Feeling Thankful for: Having lasted 5 years at my current job! – With all its ups and downs I am still here!

Well I had a great week - focused and full of energy!!! And the numbers on the scales smiled nice and bright back at me!

The week ahead - I will be walking only twice this week, and two squash games.

Unfortunately my uncle passed away yesterday and his funeral is in Hamilton on Monday - so I am heading down there for the day (funeral at 2pm) to spend time with cousins before hand.
I will make sure I make good food choices as Monday is a low point day! - Altho I could swap it with Tuesday if options aren't looking to point friendly for lunch!

I have a day off on Friday to go to a Sushi making course - so I will fill you all in more on that later this week - will try and take photos!

Reading: The Fifty Shades Trilogy by LE James - just finish the third book – it definitely draws you in to the story line and lots of sex scenes for sure – How sad is this that towards the end of the second one I was skimming thru the sex scenes as I was getting bored with them!


Watching: NOT MUCH!!! – Life has definitely got a bit busier for me lately –luck I have my favourites recorded – now to find the time to watch them!

Working on: My tolerance levels at the moment – work has got busier for me and a few fellow colleagues are doing my head in!

Thinking About: The next dance champs in September as I am not sure if I will be able to join in as I don’t have a current dance partner and as usual lots of women and no men!

Anticipating: - The start of winter – the last two nights here in Auckland have been cold – there was a frost this morning!

Listening to: The chatter of the office – lots going on: phones, voices, music, trucks – argh!

Eating: Wisely?! – The choices have been so much better this week , altho TTOTM is due so I am not sure I will be rewarded on the scales this Saturday morning.

Wishing: For the time that will arrive shortly when our lifes fall into the familiar routine of winter, not long now I hope!
