WOW Friday has rolled around again so fast and I am looking forward to the weekend!

But before that begins I want to take a few minutes to be thankful.......

I am thankful for having a wonderful and caring family who love me just the way I am
I am thankful for remembering the love of my parents who have passed away - I miss them every day
I am thankful for  the opportunities I am currently experiencing
I am thankful for the clarity of thoughts and the problem solving I am doing.
I am thankful for the happy times!

Inspired by something I had recently read but can't remember where or what - I often wonder .......
 
If I had a year to live what would I do???
 
Would I reconnect with old friends, right my wrongs, go on a misson of spiritual enligtenment????
 
or would I................
 
 
Laugh more
Worry less
Spend quality time with my husband
Spend one on one quality time with my children
Tell them all how much I love them
Encourage them to follow there dreams
Accept the unknown
Don't worry about the what ifs
Relax
Accept people as they are
Tell it like it is and be true to my feelings
Spend time creating wonderful family memories
Capture these memories in my scrapbook albums
Create more
Keep only what I truly love and cherish.
Surrond myself with positive people who love me for me, who accept me as I am and don't want to change me.
 
 
Why wait for a year to live to have the life I deserve all the time!
The above is what I need to be stirving for each and every
day that I am alive so I can be
 
TRUE TO MYSELF
LOVE MYSELF
BE ME!

Life and ME..........................


A Quirky Girl Creation

I have been a bit awol lately as I am going through a bad patch at the moment.
 
I am feeling lost and alone.
 
It is hard to explain but I  feel I need to try and get it out so I can start making some sense of it all.
 
I feel anxious all the time, on edge and alone.  I am trying to find where I fit in with all that I do.
 
An example is:
I belong to the local squash club and believe I have a few friends there - but when I try and organise a game with people no one seems available - but when i stalk look at the booking page I see that they are playing with someone else - but didn't mention that to me as in "oh sorry I already have a booking with so and so".
I am frustrated and confused with it - am I not a likeable person? What is wrong with me? Why don't they want to spend time with me?
All these things run thru my head and I just seem to work my self into a state.
Hubby doesn't get it! so I can't talk to him.
 
ARGH.............................

That is just one case - there are others but now I feel like I am complaining!
I think I need to talk to someone to get this all sorted out in my head!
 
I am also analysing everything people say when it annoys me and why is it annoying me

The mind is racing!
 
I don't think the hormones are helping matters either - so I am off to the Health Shop to have a chat to them.
 
I need to get back to appreciating all the little things that are happening in my life that do bring a smile and sense of accomplishment to me and then maybe things will start seeming brighter!
 
I guess I will have to follow the old mantra:
 
Fake it till you make it!!!!

Love the colour Pink a bit too much for there liking!

Being reminded of past failures even in a joking way! and people no getting back to me when promised

I have a few - Yeah Nah, No way, Seriously!

Play it safe!!!
5. Describe your life as it was in high school. Are you the same person? Have you changed?
High Shool - hmm I think I am the same but different - bit hard to explain!
6. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done that you’re glad you did?
BUNGY JUMPING!!!!!! so scary but it is done!!!
7. Do you ever talk to yourself? If so, share an example.
No not really but I run scenarios in my head of things I might say in a situation - that realistically I never would!
8. Share something you did that unexpectedly helped shape your life.
Oh this is a hard one - getting married???? Having Children????
9. Do you follow a strict routine, or are you a free spirit? Are you somewhere in between?
I guess I am a routine kind of gal - but love to just go with it at the spur of the moment if it is something fun!

Oh - I don't think I can inspire anyone at the moment with my head space!

Simple Questions
1. Outside my window I see…my son playing soccer in the back yard

1. Share one thing that you plan to do for yourself in 2013: I hope to get my weight down instead of up and also gain some financial control.

2. Share a good habit that you will continue doing into the new year. I am going to try and incorporate more excercise into my weight loss journey.

3. Do you make new year’s make resolutions? If so, do you typically stick to them? I don’t  ususally make new years resolutions as I create my list of things to do within the year from birthday to birthday - I like to use this to get me motivated to do good and better myself.

4. Do you have any health goals for the new year? I want to get healthier with my eating and reducing my snacking!

5. Share one thing that you plan to do in January. I hope to complete my scrapbooking album of my parents!

6. Do you have any travel plans for the coming year? If so, where are you most excited to go?  - Nope no travel plans for me!

7. What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? Nope - nothing planned will probably be sleeping when the new year rolls in!

8. What are your resolutions for 2013? See #3. 

9. What are you looking forward to most over the next 12 months? I am looking forward to making some major changes in my life and choices I make

10. Share something unique that you hope to do in 2013. I hope to compete at the Waikato Ceroc Champs with a dance partner (something I haven't done yet!), I also hope to finally conquer my bad spending habits!
